Description
An infrared trichrome photograph of wind turbines rising above a rural landscape, created from three separate exposures on infrared film and combined through red, green and blue channels. Each exposure was deliberately timed at a different point in the rotation of the turbine blades, separating their positions into vivid layers of blue, green, yellow and magenta. The technique records the passage of time and movement within a single still image, transforming the rotating wind turbines into overlapping geometric forms against the sky. This fine art photograph combines infrared film photography, RGB trichrome technique, wind turbine photography and intentional colour separation to depict the motion of wind power across the landscape.
