Lake View

Description
An infrared trichrome landscape photograph of Puzzle Lake in Ontario, where exposed rock and mature trees frame the quiet water of the lake. Created from three separate exposures on infrared film and combined through red, green and blue channels, the process transforms the dense forest foliage into vivid shades of pink, crimson and magenta while preserving the cool blue tones of the sky and water. Subtle movement between exposures creates traces of RGB colour separation in the leaves and branches, adding another layer of colour and motion to the otherwise tranquil Canadian landscape. This fine art photograph combines infrared film photography, RGB trichrome technique and Ontario landscape photography, and was exhibited at Gallery 44 in Toronto, Canada.
