Description
An infrared trichrome photograph of a secluded waterfall at Rock Glen in Arkona, Ontario, cascading over a rocky escarpment beneath a dense canopy of trees. Created from three separate exposures on infrared film and combined through red, green and blue channels, the image transforms the surrounding foliage into rich shades of pink, crimson and magenta. Movement of the flowing water between exposures creates subtle colour separation within the falls, contrasting the cool blues and greens of the water and stone with the surreal infrared landscape. This fine art photograph combines infrared film photography, RGB trichrome technique, waterfall and landscape photography, and experimental colour. This photograph was exhibited at the Preston Gallery in Uxbridge, Ontario.
