Vinyl Diffraction #2

Description
Light diffracts across the grooves of a spinning vinyl record, breaking into concentric bands of colour that transform its surface into an abstract study of light and motion. With the familiar form of the turntable removed from view, the record becomes a field of luminous circles, its grooves separating reflected light into shifting traces of colour. Created photographically in-camera, the image explores the unexpected spectrum concealed within the physical structure of recorded sound.
