Description
Leslie and Lakeshore transforms a Toronto intersection into an energetic composition of light, colour and movement. Made during a long exposure from a moving vehicle, the camera was rotated through 360 degrees as the photograph was taken, stretching headlights, taillights and streetlights into sweeping ribbons, loops and repeating patterns. The familiar visual language of the city dissolves into an almost entirely abstract field of luminous lines against the darkness.
