Rock Glen Falls

Description
Water descends in a series of delicate streams over the layered rock face of Rock Glen Falls, framed by the dense foliage of the surrounding forest. A long exposure softens the movement of the water while preserving the texture and structure of the stone beneath it, creating a contrast between the luminous falls and the deep shadows of the ravine. Photographed with a Hasselblad 500 C/M on infrared film utilizing a green filter, the rendering keeps the foliage restrained and richly textured, allowing the falling water and rock formations to remain the visual focus.
