Wind Turbines

Description
A black-and-white infrared photograph of wind turbines, captured on infrared film with a Hasselblad 500CM. The infrared rendering turns the surrounding field and distant trees luminous while pushing the sky toward deep black, isolating the brilliant white forms of the turbines against the landscape. The difference in scale between the two turbines creates a strong sense of depth, while scattered white clouds break across the dark sky and balance the stark geometry of the blades.
